We're pleased to report that the Columbia City Council voted unanimously on June 11, 2026, to approve an ordinance prohibiting the sale and giveaway of domestic animals in public spaces within city limits.

Because of our incredible supporters, something beautiful happened recently... On Monday, March 31: 𝟭𝟰 amazing volunteers came together to sort and assemble 𝟯𝟬𝟮 donations into 𝟱𝟰 care packages!

From March 14–30, 2026, community members are coming together for Protect the Bond, an initiative to support families and pets impacted by domestic violence.
